Impact!
The Kingdom Builder Foundation recently announced the availability of $20,000 to be granted during its’ inaugural granting cycle in the fall of 2009. There was an inspiring array of ministries embodied in the applications that were received representing many exciting examples of God working through the lives of His believers. Following an extensive evaluation process, four initial grant recipients were identied:
- Hope Without Boundaries - $4,000. Funds will be used to replace ancient
and dangerous electrical wiring and install a new transformer at El Refugio–a home for the elderly and disabled in Tijuana.
Military Outreach Ministries - $5,000. Funds will be used to expand their critical Mobile Food Pantry service to military families at Miramar, 29 Palms, March AFB and other installations in addition to Camp Pendleton.
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship - $8,000. Funds will be used to raise up evangelistic student leaders through outreach events and missional Bible studies at UCSD, USD, CSU San Marcos, Mira Costa and Palomar colleges. Click here to read a letter from InterVarsity.
Continuing Education funds for Paula Mazza - $3,000. With a big heart for young student ministry, Paula is pursuing a Masters of Art degree in Children and Family Ministry at her own expense. Funds will be used to help offset those costs. Paula’s growth and development will be immediately poured back into the hundreds of kids she interacts with each week in her work at the church.
Please take a moment to think about the variety and number of lives that will be impacted by these funds. God is indeed good.
