The purpose of the Kingdom Builder Foundation is to spread the Christian faith by financially supporting ministries and missions founded upon Christian principles.  Specifically, grants made from the Foundation will be in alignment with the vision and mission of Solana Beach Presbyterian Church(SBPC).

Examples of ministry and mission activities supported by grants from the Foundation include:

• Global Missions
• Children/Student/Family Ministries
• Hispanic Ministries
• Senior Ministries
• Music/Worship/Arts
• Education/Discipleship/Evangelism
• Community Outreach

Activities that will not be supported by the Foundation include:

• Day-to-day operations of SBPC
• New facility needs of SBPC
• Individuals and organizations with political agendas

Members, friends or employees of SBPC may apply for a grant from the Foundation.  Other individuals or organizations may also apply for a grant provided they are sponsored by a member or friend of Solana Beach Presbyterian Church who is willing to champion the ministry and act as a liaison between the Foundation and the ministry or activity.

A Foundation Granting Committee will evaluate all applications that are submitted before the deadline and make specific granting recommendations that will go to the Foundation Board of Directors for approval before funds are disbursed.  All applicants for grants must go through the formal application process.  Requests for Foundation grants should include clearly defined goals and measurable outcomes as detailed in the grant application.
